Since using this software, our appointment booking system is much more organized, as we can locate each exact patient’s record just by asking for his IC number. We can make changes in the booking, for eg rescheduling appointments in a clean and easy to see manner -previously with manual system there would be a mess created when rescheduling patients, and a headache to know who was actually coming in for that day.

When there is a change in the status of the patient’s appointment- for eg from “Confirmed” to “Cancelled”, the dentist knows straightaway about it from his own laptop in the surgery. We do not need to constantly ask the front desk about the status. There is even a box for remarks so that the staff can key in the reason for the cancellation.

Patient Registration & Management – Enable fast patient registration for its complete demography with Mykad reader in just 10 seconds! For some cases, patient is allowed to quick registered as well if the information is not complete, they can be added later on or updated with Mykad. Good news for family physician, there is no longer family card folder or index need to be created under this new approach, family card can be tagged together by defining their relationship so that any of the family member returns will easily spot their family member list. You can even browse through the member demography to easily get a clue of their similarity of medical history. For panel case, a patient can selected for for their panel from a registered panel list. The bill will then automatically created under this panel. In case you would like to customize your own medical check list or additional preferred information to be known, you can add on easily as there are many spared demography columns.

Queue Management & Appointment Making – Walk in patient can registered easily by their IC/passport or first name, middle name or last name. It can also be searched by any of their address location or registered telephone number. If there are patients with similar name, a list of name with their IC/Passport, DOB, gender and address will be suggested for your confirmation before proceeding further. Registration can be selected for preferred doctor if there is a group practice or open to any on duty doctors. Selected doctor will see a list of patient waiting with the earliest registration on the top list. Doctor can follow the queue or jump queue to see the suitable patient depends on patient’s case and their plan, then simply send request automatically for front counter to bring the patient in. This can be seamlessly automated with the Doctor Assist™ Queue Display Panel. A list of queue operation flow can be easily defined depends on the state of a patient, example, “Waiting”, “Consultation in progress”, “Consultation Done”, “Prescription Done” and so on. It can be manually or automated selected depends on action. Clinic manager can monitor progress of all patient as the queue will be highlighted in different color if the patient progress from one to another state of treatment during their visit. Doctor can also leave a next action message for front counter after seeing a patient so that, front counter can immediately schedule next appointment for patient while calling them up for dispensary or settlement purpose. Appointment making is very flexible and practical as they can select the customer preferred date or browsing a weekly calendar slot. It will even prompt an alert message if it conflicts with other in placed appointments. You can still continue to make multiple appointment at any one time if you allow.

Medical & Treatment Record – Doctor will have a full view of patient medical’s subjective, objective, assessment and plan, all in one view. It is also comes with complete prescription and treatment history for you to browse back 10 years or longer records by just scrolling up and down. The most attractive part is the medical layout is adjustable in 9 different template and each of its size is adjustable depends on the focus of doctor. To fulfill any age group or different computing experience of healthcare professionals, it comes with 2 main approaches for medical recording, which is by keyboard typing or digital pen writing. The same page of medical record can be progressive updated on different dates. Or it can whole new page for every new visit. You can apply the setting. For special doctor, example ophthalmologist, they can apply a customized template easily depends on their requirement. Speed Prescription & Label Printing – Doctor can prescribe much more faster than ever by having an alternate code to access the different prescription formula for the same drug. Drug can be called easily by using name or short code or stock code or by predefined category. Low stock will be alerted during the prescription and balance will be shown at the same time so doctor can have a choice to dispense other similar drug in case of low stock. And reorder can be made immediately. By having this speed prescription, you can easily prescribe 10 drug in just 20 seconds as there is no need to define the formula for every similar case. Upon request, prescription slip can be printed for patient to buy at the pharmacy upon request. If it is dispensed internally, drug label can be printed directly on the sticker for dispensary counter to refer and pick from the shelf. With the complete drug label with patient name, dispensary error will be reduced greatly.

Document and Image Management – If there is any laboratory result, CT scan digital image, referral letter or any incoming formal letter, it can be scanned into the patient’s file by having this feature. All type of file format can be accepted, example excel, powerpoint, word, dicom or text file. If it is a image format, immediate thumbnail preview is available, it can be then selected for full screen viewing or comparison purpose for 2 different images from any of the 2 similar or different date side by side. It is normally used for “before” and “after” comparison purpose.

Dispensary and Billing – After prescription is done, it is converted automatically to billing. Or dispensary counter will take instruction based on the doctors digital handwriting prescription note and proceed with dispensary. All item is recorded in dispensary will be deducted from the balance automatically. If there is any cancelled item, it will be returned for its balance quantity automatically without need to manually adjust the stock and recreate the billing. If there is additional item to be added in the same billing, it can be done easily. Low stock balance will be highlighted to help making decision to spare some stock for the emergency use. Settlement for the billing can be identified for its payment method or panel billing type. It can be printed in itemized or non-itemized format for both invoice or receipt. Billing and Payment Management – In actual operation, this part is most challenging side as there are many cases will happen, example discount is given after the final bill is done, cancellation on the some items, new add-on items on the finalized billing, partial settlement, printing the guarantor name for the billing, split bill request and etc. All of the mentioned cases at above can be practically solved by this features in Doctor Assist™. Statement of Account – Patient’s summary of billing for previous visits can be printed to indicate their payment method, status and billing type.

 

Treatment Planner – With this feature, medical doctor can put the selected patient for a series of procedural follow up on routine or timely basis. For example, one complete medical check up consists of blood test, urine test, CT scan and series of examination and it is very likely to be scheduled for every year. Medical center can easily follow up with this case easily with this features. It will link all the related appointments, laboratory order, radiology order, consultation note and payment for the similar treatment.

Medical Certificate (MC) and Time Slip- Allow user to create medical certificate for their sick leave proof purpose or print time slip for their short visit to indicate their registered time and completed time

Pharmacy and Stock Management – When dispensary is done at pharmacy for calculated quantity, the stock balance will be deducted to indicate the latest balance during the next dispensary. Stock can be searched easily by either stock name, stock code, alternated short code or look up by category. It is barcode reader compatible not only during the stock sales but as well as for stock purchase entry to avoid miscalculation of quantity. Every stock entry transaction is identified by batches with its purchase quantity and remaining balance for the batches. Adjustment and transfer-out can be done easily.

Patient Medical Progress Report – Patient progress can be monitored with this feature for their vital sign of examination during medical check up. Such as glucose monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, growth chart monitoring, ante-natal monitoring report and so on. Medical Summary can be printed with all the vital medical information recorded collectively for insurance claim and analysis purpose.

Advance Clinic Report – This feature allows clinic manager to export statistical report both for business and medical compliance report. Example for business report are sales and revenue by doctor / visiting doctor, sales and revenue by trading or non-trading items, profit and losses for the trading items and etc. For the compliance report which is required by Ministry of Health, there are statistical of ICD10 diagnosis report, patient register, medical moving report, referral record, x-ray register and etc. All of the report can be exported to excel and get printed easily.
